Presentation of the documentary: “Consecrated Life: A Hope that Transforms”
On December 16, at the UISG headquarters, the video documentary Consecrated Life: A Hope that Transforms," which celebrates the UISG's sixty-year journey born in the context of renewal of the Second Vatican Council. The documentary recounts the Union's current mission as a space of communion among Superiors General from around the world. It is rooted in the Church and open to a prophetic voice.
The documentary, through different testimonies and voices, shows how the global network of consecrated women is translated into concrete gestures of accompaniment, service and sharing of charisms, in response to the challenges of our time: from the existential peripheries to the care of creation, from justice and peace to the fighting against human trafficking.
In a world marked by crisis and division, 'Consecrated Life: A Hope that Transforms' offers a vision of consecrated life moving forward together, providing the Church and humanity with a message of communion, fidelity and hope.
