Assembly of the UISG Rome Constellation

Assembly of the UISG Rome Constellation

On 30 November 2023, the Coordination Team of the UISG Constellation in Rome met at the UISG Headquarters to prepare the Constellation Assembly which will be held from 9 to 11 January 2024 in Rome, with the theme: "Synodality - a path of hope."

The Superiors General whose Congregation is based in Rome are invited to participate.

Participating in this meeting is always an opportunity to share the faith, to grow together as we face the challenges of our time as consecrated women in this time of change. May our institutes, walking together, continue to be a reflection of the Light of Christ and of a renewed prophecy of hope.

The meeting will be in person and residential, at the House of Spiritual Exercises of Our Lady Mother of Mercy in Via di Monte Cucco, 25, Rome.

The program seeks to respond to the suggestions expressed by all of you during the previous UISG Rome Constellation Assembly, and to work in harmony with the Synod of Synodality, fostering a process of reflection and application in our general government teams and individual communities.

The speakers who have accepted our invitation to guide us in these themes are:

  • Sr. Maria Cimperman, RSCJ: “Rereading consecrated life in the light of synodality”.
  • P. Flavio Bottaro, SJ: “Methodology of discernment in the ministry of government”.

During the assembly there will be translations provided in Italian, Spanish, English and French.

Registration, as in previous years, can be done online through the UISG webpage at the following link.

The registration fee for participation in the assembly is € 210 (two hundred and ten euros), and covers all food, lodging and organizational expenses. The fee can be paid by bank transfer or directly during the Assembly.
