The Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) is pleased to invite you to the event “The Future of Protection and Shared Humanity: Standing with Refugees, Beyond Barriers”, which will take place on Thursday, 2 July 2026, from 14:00 to 15:45 (CEST – Rome time).

Speakers include:

• Filippo Grandi, former United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees,
• Dr Andreas Frick, Director General of Misereor,
• Fr Arturo Sosa SJ, Superior General of the Society of Jesus.

The discussion will focus on the risks arising from the weakening of the international protection system and will place at its centre the lived experiences of the people accompanied by JRS.
