Programme for the Preparation of Formators
In response to the need to prepare Sisters for formation ministry, UISG offers a programme for sisters taking up the responsibility of accompanying those in the initial stages of formation to religious life.
The programme has started in 2019 and it is offered in English only, for the moment.
IDENTITY
During the programme, the participants form a learning and supportive community, take on leadership responsibilities and share the uniqueness of their cultures.
Topics to be covered include:
- Processes of human and spiritual growth,
- Intercultural living,
- Consecrated life,
- Discernment,
- Mission in the world of today and processes of formation.
MISSION
This programme is offered in the context of the religious congregations of the participants and the needs of the church and the world in the 21st century.
The programme offers various ways to help the participant integrate the content of the programme including personal reflection, group work and interaction, and mentoring. Each participant assumes the responsibility for her own human and spiritual growth and commits herself to active and engaged participation.
