Programme for Formators, 2022
Programme for Formators
“We have to be nourished and strengthened by the love of God in our journey of Formation”
Rev. Br. David Glenday, MCCJ
The third edition of the Preparation Program for Formators, started on 25 January 2022 and promoted by UISG, aims to provide various aids and resources to help the participants strengthen specific and transversal skills that are useful to the sisters who will work in the field of formation.
The training course hosts 46 sisters from 22 different countries.
The 2023 course programme is already available.
Interview of participants to the Programme
The meetings foresee the subdivision of the participants in different groups in order to allow the care and attention to daily activities and, at the same time, to allow a constant encouragement and mutual support.
The topics covered are:
- Physical and psychological self-awareness
- multicultural and international experiences and contexts
- biblical and theological preparation
- profession of permanent vows
- vocation and spirituality in consecrated life
- how to become a good trainer of tomorrow
There are also numerous spaces and moments dedicated to personal reflection, practical work, interaction and sharing, and human and spiritual growth.
The course, entirely in English, also aims to strengthen the participants' language skills in order to prepare them for international contexts in which, especially today,
knowledge of the English language is essential.
"The richness of the participants, who come from so many continents and so many religious congregations, is truly inspiring".
Sr. Cynthia Reyes, SRA, Coordinator of the Programme for Formators
