UISG Calls for United Prayer for Pope Francis’ Strength and Healing
The International Union of Superiors General (UISG) invites all its members to unite in prayer for Pope Francis, who is currently hospitalized at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital for treatment for double pneumonia.
He has expressed his gratitude for the support he feels at this time and asks that the prayers continue.
As women religious committed to the mission of the Church, we ask the Lord to grant him strength and healing.
We also extend our prayers to the medical staff caring for him and to all those who are sick and in need of comfort.
