New Leadership for the Congregation of the Benedictine Sisters of Divine Providence
The XXVI General Chapter of the Benedictine Sisters of Divine Providence, held July 17-August 5, 2024 in Nova Veneza, Santa Catarina, Brazil, resulted in the appointment of the new sisters destined to lead the Order in the sexennium 2024-2030.
The newly elected council consists of:
Superior General: Sister Narcisa Maria Pasetto (Brazil)
1st Councilor and Vicar General: Sister Clara Rosa de Sousa Medeiros (Brazil)
2nd Councilor: Sister Tereza Medves (Romania)
3rd Councilor: Sister Gleicy Kelly Rocha (Brazil)
4th Councilor: Sister Ana Maria Gomes da Costa (Brazil)
We express our sincerest wishes to the newly elected council. May this new chapter be filled with success, spiritual growth and fruitful service. May their leadership and commitment inspire not only the community of the Benedictine Sisters of Divine Providence, but also all people who approach their mission.
