Launching of the Digital Platform

UISG Launches the Digital Platform

We communicate because God is communication and communion and wills us to communicate his love as his daughters and sons to create the spiritual connection in this world which is tamed by the digital revolution that has swept the traditional communication.

Driven by this zeal the International Union of Superiors General (UISG) has launched a new digital platform to empower and enlarge the circle of cooperation among women religious communicators. The digital platform, available in five languages, is meant for all those involved in the communication mission of their institute or congregation. Around 250 women religious enthusiastically took part in this event.

The main objective of the platform is to provide information and resources on the main themes of digital communication today, including social media, artificial intelligence, institutional communication, religious marketing, and many more. The aim is to overcome the barrier of printed paper and make information accessible to everyone and at all times, mainly to the communicators of religious life who are today called upon to face numerous challenges and to enhance their skills.

The platform has three main sections: news, events, and multimedia. The news section features articles from the world of religious communication, while the events section showcases training opportunities on the themes of religious communication organized by the UISG and other institutions. The multimedia section is the main and biggest part of the platform. Here, communicators can access resources that interest them the most at any given moment, including videos, texts, images, and downloadable texts.

We encourage all women religious communicators to take advantage of this platform, contribute to it, and share it with others. Together, we can build a strong network of communicators who will transform the world through their message of love, hope, and peace. You can contribute to this collaboration by writing to us at imcrl2023@uisg.org.

Presentation of the Digital Platform

The digital platform also includes a special program called Delibera, which is a tool for collective intelligence that allows sharing of knowledge, skills, ideas, and experiences within a group. It is a collaborative workspace where members can build together, share resources, work on projects, and organize meetings. The program is designed to encourage cooperative intelligence for inclusion and is a place where religious communicators can learn from each other, support each other, and inspire one another to be better communicators and collaborators.

The launch of the UISG digital platform is a significant step forward for communicating Religious Life. It has as its mission “We communicate the heart of women's religious life. We share our spirituality, charism and mission as well as our commitment to build a more fraternal, just and peaceful world, especially with the most vulnerable.” The digital platform also includes a survey which serve to gather updated data of the religious communicators.

Digital platform will serve as a resource hub for all religious communicators and enable them to enhance their skills and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in communication. It will also provide opportunities for networking and collaboration, which is crucial in today's interconnected world.
