COP27: Launch of the African Climate Dialogues communiqué

“The African Climate Dialogues is an initiative bringing together Church and civil society actors and allies including communities and religious leaders from across the African continent and European organizations”
Between August and September 2022, the African Climate Dialogues was held a series of meetings on key topics with experts invited to share their perspectives, discuss priorities and put forward solutions.
After finalizing the 5 dialogues, the committee is ready to launch the African Climate Dialogues communiqué this October 17th at 8:00 GMT/9:00 BST/10:00 CEST.
The Climate Dialogues communiqué is a document bringing together suggestions and requests from an African perspective ahead of the UN climate conference COP27.
The event will be livestreamed from SECAM's YouTube channel and CIDSE, “Coopération Internationale pour le Développement et la Solidarité”, a Catholic social justice organisations , will share it on Twitter and Facebook on the day of the event.
French and English interpretation will be available.
