New General Council of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Saviour
The Congregation of the Sisters of the Redeemer has a new General Council following the elections held during the General Chapter in June 2026.
Sr M. Tadea Mpanda, CSR, was elected the new Superior General of the Congregation.
She will be joined in the service of leadership by Sr M. Monika Edinger, CSR, who was elected Vicar General and Regional Superior for Germany.
The Congregation of the Sisters of the Saviour, whose Generalate is based in Würzburg, Germany, thus begins a new stage in its journey, entrusting its new leaders with the service of animating and guiding the Institute.
The UISG extends its congratulations to Sr M. Tadea Mpanda and Sr M. Monika Edinger and wishes them a fruitful ministry in the service of their Congregation and religious life, in communion and mission.
