JPIC Workshop 2026 – Building a Global Family for Systemic Transformation Towards Just and Lasting Peace

JPIC Workshop 2026 – Building a Global Family for Systemic Transformation Towards Just and Lasting Peace

In a time marked by profound and interconnected crises — wars, environmental degradation, economic inequality, forced migration, and the erosion of solidarity and spiritual values — the urgency for a prophetic and collective response is growing. As consecrated women and men, we are called to read the signs of the times and to commit ourselves to Justice, Peace, and the Integrity of Creation (JPIC), promoting systemic transformation that begins with the person and reaches our common home.

The workshop aims to build a shared vision of positive peace, grounded in connection with God, others, and all creation, recognizing ourselves as one global family. The approach will be participatory and experiential, based on the See–Judge–Act methodology and enriched by biblical reflection, structural analysis, and tools for concrete action.

Main workshop themes:

  • Biblical and spiritual foundations of JPIC and related ministries
  • Current global challenges (political economy, climate justice, conflicts) and their impact on peace and creation
  • Evangelical nonviolence as a pathway to justice and reconciliation
  • Tools for advocacy, movement-building, and transformative engagement
  • Spaces for reflection and sharing to translate experience into concrete action

The UISG invites all consecrated persons and those engaged in justice and peace pathways to join this formative workshop. It will be an opportunity to deepen, together, a new way of inhabiting the world and our faith, in the spirit of care, justice, and hope.
