The Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Siessen, during its General Chapter, elected its new General Leadership Team, which, for the first time, has an international composition:

• Superior General: Sr M. Tanja Lohr – Germany
• General Vicaress: Sr Rosa Maria Severino – Brazil
• General Councillor: Sr M. Ernestina Keketsi – South Africa

This new chapter opens a time of shared journey for the Congregation, in which sisters from different countries are called to place their gifts and experiences at the service of a common mission, united by the Franciscan spirit.

From the UISG, we express our joy and closeness to Sr M. Tanja Lohr, her Council, and all the Franciscan Sisters of Siessen. May the Lord sustain them in this new responsibility and grant them wisdom, courage, and hope as they accompany the Congregation in the years ahead.
