New Leaders: Interview with sr. Patricia Murray
New Leaders: Interview with sr. Patricia Murray
"We need leades in the Church and in the world today. I think sisters as leaders bring an important dimension, because they are vulnerable people in their own daily lives.
I think we always envisit that leaders are somehow upfront, leading and directing, but more and more within religious life, we, sisters, see ourselves as in an among people. Particularily those who are on the margins, in difficulty, suffering in any way.
So what does a leader do when among the people? I think - listen. And often you have to listen for a long time." - says sr. Patricia Murray, IBVM, the Executive Secretary of the UISG.

To Sr. Patricia Murray Greetings The United Nations will convene a major meeting on June 2-4 in New York City, on the two-state mandate for Gaza and a reconstruction plan for the region. What is required is immediate relief, initiating reconstruction in Gaza, and moving on the statehood of Palestine. LaRouche's “Oasis Plan” approach, which has been on the table for decades, is crucial for the success of this effort and to end the unending series of global wars once and for all. Schiller Institute Founder and President Helga Zepp-LaRouche has called for an all out mobilization for the next five weeks leading into that U.N. meeting. Our May 24-25 two-day Schiller Institute conference is the place to confer on the principles involved. It is the function of this conference to further and consolidate the tremendous potential we now have. I invite you to join International Peace Coalition Meeting #102 tomorrow morning at 11 am Eastern and the S.I. Conference on Memorial Day Weekend. Both invitations and links can be found at schiller institute.com in the top banner of items. Ron Bettag 832-643-5165
