The Pontifical John Paul II Theological Institute for Matrimonial and Family Science, the only pontifical university specializing in the Theology of the Family and the Social Sciences related to it, celebrates the tenth anniversary of Amoris laetitia with formation pathways open to everyone, both in person and online, with no prior academic qualifications required.

With an interdisciplinary offering — theology, social sciences, Christian anthropology, and practical skills — and an international perspective, the Institute accompanies pastoral workers, educators, religious, priests, parents, and parish communities who wish to receive formation for responsible and informed pastoral service in their local contexts, in line with the Magisterium and with a Christian anthropological and theological vision.

Courses can also be attended online (synchronous mode). Three pathways are available, in line with the Institute’s teaching and formation programme for the 2026–2027 academic year:

Amoris Laetitia Pathway:

• Family and the Social Teaching of the Church: From Leo XIII to Leo XIV
• Learning and Synodality in Family and Ecclesial Life
