A Pilgrim of Hope: An Academic Symposium on The Legacy of Dorothy Day

 

 

The Pontifical Gregorian University, through the Department of Moral Theology and Spiritual Theology of the Faculty of Theology, in collaboration with the University of Notre Dame – Rome and Manhattan University, is organizing the Academic Symposium “A Pilgrim of Hope: The Legacy of Dorothy Day”, an in-depth reflection on the spiritual and social legacy of one of the most significant figures of 20th-century Catholicism.

 

The initiative aims to explore the meaning, originality, and limits of Dorothy Day’s spirituality, as well as the relevance and significance of her works of social engagement. The event is open to religious sisters and brothers, scholars, and all those who wish to gain a deeper understanding of a prophetic witness that continues to inspire pathways of justice, peace, and solidarity.
