« Transformées par l’Espérance » se présente comme un espace d’écoute et de discernement à partir des Évangiles dominicaux qui accompagneront notre chemin de Carême.

L’initiative, promue par les Théologiennes de l’UISG, s’inscrit dans l’horizon ouvert par le Jubilé et souhaite en prolonger la grâce, en continuant à vivre notre vocation comme pèlerines d’espérance au cœur des défis du temps présent.

Chaque semaine, à la lumière de la Parole de Dieu, nous contemplerons un aspect de la conversion à laquelle nous sommes appelées, en nous laissant conduire par l’Esprit sur le chemin vers Pâques. C’est une invitation à permettre à l’espérance évangélique de façonner notre manière de croire, d’habiter la communion et de participer à la mission de l’Église.

Durant la troisième semaine, le commentaire de l’Évangile selon Jean (4, 5-42) est préparé par Sœur Mariana Zossi, OP.

Every year, the first two Sundays of Lent bring us the account of the temptations and the transfiguration according to Matthew, Mark, and Luke. They present the beginning and end of Jesus' path of passion: the presence of evil that incites us to reject God's plan for our lives and the encounter with the glorious Lord who strengthens us and gives us the grace to continue walking faithfully in our daily lives.

From the third Sunday onwards, each cycle takes a different path towards Easter. Cycle A, which we are walking through now, follows an order in the baptismal itinerary using three elements with great symbolic significance: water, light and life. On this third Sunday, we will focus our attention on water as a sign of God's presence on our journey. Let us take a look.
