Sr. Anne Munley, IHM - DIRECTOR
OF PROGAMS AND SOCIAL MINISTRY

Anne Munley, a Sister, Servant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary of Scranton, Pennsylvania, U.S.A, began her full-time service at UISG in March of 2003. A sociologist whose research and writings include works on the leadership and ministry of women religious, Anne is a past president of her congregation and
of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious of the United States (LCWR). She facilitated the UISG Plenary and Assembly in 2001 and the UISG Assembly in 2002. Among her current projects at UISG are collaborative initiatives on trafficking and on distance education for women religious in five English-speaking countries of Africa. Anne also is assisting with the planning and preparations for the 2004 UISG Plenary and Assembly and for the Congress on Consecrated Life that will take place in Rome in November of 2004
