Sr. Evelyn Brault, SASV - ARCHIVISTA

Evelyn Brault, Suora dell’Assunzione della Beata Vergine ptoveniente dal Massachusetts, è arrivata alla UISG tattraverso delle circostanze provvidenziali. while on sabbatical at Weston School of Theology. In a telephone conversation with Sister Helen McLaughlin, RSCJ, then President of the UISG, Evelyn received the invitation to minister in Rome. She had spent the first thirty years of her religious life in Japan as a teacher of English and as administrator at the high school and junior college levels. She served as Provincial in the US province of her congregation and on the General Leadership Team in Canada. Evelyn worked at the UISG headquarters as secretary of the English section from 1992-1995 and returned again in 2000 as archivist. She has a passion for reading and visiting museums. Living in Rome is a dream come true for her!

E’ un privilegio per me, come archivista, dare sacralità alla storia del magnifico lavoro svolto con dedicazione da parte delle Superiore Generali, durante quasi quaranta anni di esistenza della UISG.
