UISG BULLETIN

UISG BULLETIN COVERS

The first issue used a large format and the image of a bridge to symbolize the character and purpose of UISG and of the Bulletin.

The second Bulletin was similar to the first but used a different color scheme and another bridge image. This was the last to be published in the tabloid format.

From the third issue on, the size was reduced and the use of a blue background characterized issues until number five.

This cover pictures Pope Paul VI addressing the first Plenary Meeting held in Rome from March 1-12, 1967.

This very simple cover, printed on white was used for issues 5 and 6. This was the first time that a second color was used to indicate the language in which the issue was produced.

Beginning with Issue #7, we see the characteristic lettering and abstract design style from the late 60's. This design was used until Issue #15.

This cover was designed for Issue #15 and has been used since 1970. It retains the use of color as an indicator of the language. Pictured here is the red for Spanish.
