EXECUTIVE PRESIDENT

The President has regular responsibility for the general running of the UISG
and especially for sessions of the Plenary Meeting, the Assembly of the
Union and the Executive Committee, which she convenes.

The President officially represents the UISG with both canonical and civil
authorities. She has final responsibility for the activities of the permanent
or ad hoc commissions established by the Executive Committee.

In case of her absence, the President asks one of the Assistants to replace
her. In the event of her death, resignation or cessation of her mandate as
Superior General, or other reasons which prevent her from fulfilling her
role as President, the first Assistant replaces her.
