COUNCILS

COUNCIL OF 16
The Council of 16 is composed of the Executive Committee and the General
Secretary of UISG, representatives from USG and the staff of CICLSAL. The purpose
of this Council is to discuss matters important to Institutes of Consecrated Life and
Societies of Apostolic Life.


COUNCIL OF 18
The Council of 18 consists nine representatives from UISG, nine from USG and the
members of Propaganda Fide in order to discuss The Evangelization of Peoples.

COR UNUM
This Pontifical Council is a Vatican commission seeking ways to deepen solidarity.
UISG is invited to send its president as a representative and Sr. Rita Burley was
elected the president of this commission.
